We have received many e-mail and phone call inquiring about our New Signature line of Trublood AB's, well It started in the year 1999 when we purchased our first American Bulldog "Suga" she was a Hine's dog we were so impressed with her muscled physique it was crazy ! she looked like a super sized Pit Bull on steroids her temperament was a bit drivey but that was because her lineage was bred for taking down wild hogs. then there was Musafa our First Bully American Bulldog we were so impressed with him we had never seen a dog that bully before with the same drive that Suga had. We bred the two when they matured and liked what we seen the litter was consistent with his type and her physique unfortunately none of the pups survive being that we did not have the knowledge of whelping pups as we do today. As a year went by we heard about a huge 140lbs. American Bulldog in East Texas named Madd Max this dog was very impressive as well we never encountered a dog of that magnitude that could function so well in hot weather so we purchase a female pup named CoCo she brought girth to our program promoting size, Another year went by we had done some research of Johnson dogs and liked what we discovered with Mr. Johnsons lineage the bone on these dogs was outstanding and the temperament was just what we where looking for "Protective" but around kids a big teddy bear so we took a drive back down to East Texas and purchased a dog named "Austin" that was down from Billy Brames line of Johnson lineage Austin was the keeper of the yard and deterred away intruders as time passed by we heard about a dog named RCK's Sampson now this dog was a beast he had size, type, bone, structure and drive we had to have something off this dog so we gave Bo Watson a call and he said come on down and see him in person so we did a long drive to West Texas when we pulled up, There he was and I had to say Damn ! Sampson was a true Bulldog time had passed we kept in touch with Bo and we had a dog come in heat named China Doll that we purchased from the Prell's American Bulldogs. We knew that breeding her to Sampson was going to be a match made in heaven being that a previous breeding we had done with our Musafa that produced Bully, Bully , Bully! this was going to take us to the next level and it did we where now producing consistent big dogs. Bo was so impressed he struck up a deal on a female dog named Tori she was a double Iron Man Tyson Granddaughter that produced us some super nice pups with a Iron Man Tyson Son named STB's Earth Quake another phenomenal Huge dog . being that we now had all big dogs we where looking for something different so we bought a female pup from West Coast AB's sired by a dog named WC's Iron Axel that was sired by a dog name WC's Big Boy 142 lbs. bred to WC's Devious Lady of MGK once again we were still at that level of big dogs so we wanted to down size our program because our dogs where getting rangy and loosing conformation so we incorporated Ch. Mufassa lineage to our program to tighten up the loose ends and it did. But to sum it up threw the years we have been fascinated with the many Types , Sizes and looks of the American Bulldog that we incorporated all the different lineages that we had bred in our program Including Kennedy lineage that was a prime factor that sustain the look of the True BullDog THAT we narrow down to what we have today in our key studs on our yard bred to the finest out cross that we felt would do the job we where striving for In our TRU-GRYTT LINE of TRUBLOOD AB's that is producing Sound Conformation - Bully Type - Muscled Physique - Short Back - Gargantuan Dome standing a 24 1/2 to 25" at withers with the Tenacity of the Bulldogs of the Old Days that derives from some of sought after old lineage that produced some Legendary Studs and Brood Stock.
