                         * OUR BREEDING PHILOSOPHY AND GOALS  *

First off we would like to say " mating dogs is not breeding. it is the reproduction of dogs. a breeder should be seeking to mate the right dogs in the right way so that he or she produces the ideal( or close to it as possible ) in his or hers kennel. that is the only feasible way if the breeder knows what ideal is." We do not breed dogs just to produce puppies and to make a profit. There are already enough "breeders" like this.  We have goals in mind and future plans always in the works for our program.  We breed dogs for ourselves and to not rely on current trends to have an effect on what we breed.  We also do not claim to have the greatest dogs on the planet (folks who claim this are kennel blind as all dogs have faults). However, we do feel as if we are working with and producing quality dogs.  We know all of our dogs faults and do not have a problem pointing them out.  Without knowing both your dogs  benefits and adversities you can never know which direction to take your program.  We strive to produce intelligent dogs with solid temperament, working ability and drive as well as being sound in conformation. While we would like most of our dogs to end up in working and show homes we also feel as if our dogs can also become great family dogs. We do not breed for the public and only do a breeding when the stud and dam have been tested in some way. We feel responsible for every dog that we have produced into this world which is why we feel so strongly about who gets one of our dogs.  We have put a lot of time and heart into our dogs and do not want to see all of our hard work and love be destroyed because a new owner doesn't do right by their new dog and the American Bulldog breed in general. This is why we do not sell pups to people who seem unwilling to learn more and to train and socialize their dogs.  We do not want to see one of our dogs end up being a poor example of the breed simply because the person who has the dog didn't bother to put effort in nourishment and proper care of there new dog.
